Palm

Playmaker for Palm is a lot of fun, however if the device has to do a soft rest, registration is lost. ???  Also is there anyway to install the game to the card and not the device it self?  This would be really helpful when trying to move teams from palm to pc and back.  Please help.

While I am happy that [i]Playmaker[/i] can be as deep and involved as I want it to be, I would like to know where I can get some pre-drafted teams and some playbooks with plays whose names are easy to follow. I'm planning on introducing the game to other newbies real soon. Thanks.

I have a Palm IIIxe that I recently purchased through eBay and I downloaded Playmaker for it last night. I'd like to know if two similarly equipped Palm machines can play head to head by beaming plays through their infrared transceivers.

I've never been able to figure out the steps for copying a pre-existing playbook (specificially the Sharks) so that My Team could use it.  I haven't had luck creating my own seperate team and playbook either, maybe their is a limit to one customized team perhaps?  If anyone knows how to copy a playbook for use on the Palm I would greatly appreciate the info, otherwise this is a great Palm football game! ;D

I was wondering if there has been any progress on the Palm vesion update to allow support for the Tungsten T5. Any word on when this will be available?

I need some advice. I have a T-5 and have PMFB for Palm running on it with no problems. However, I cannot assign run patterns in the chalkboard editor. The instructions say to select the player and then the slift indictator. Then tap the screen where you want the route to end. I do that and get nothing. It will not draw the route. I am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help.

I was a good boy this year and was given a T5 this December.  However, Palm suggests that they changed the file system in the OS for the T5, making some programs incompatible. This appears to be the case with PMFB as my palm crashes every time I try to run the game.

I'd love some suggestions if there are any.  I'd also love to know that Brian is planning an update . . .

Brian, as per our email discussions....on one of my Windows XP computers, the conversion utility crashes when trying to convert PC files to palm version files.

Specifcally, it is with Team Files and Playbooks created with PMFB for Windows
v2.3. It gives the same error message with every file
I try to convert. the program immediately closes and I
get an error message that says:

This application has requested the Runtime to
terminate it in an unusaual way. Please contact the
application's support team for more information.
