Mac User launch Issue

I recently downloaded Playmaker and when attempting to launch it I get an error stating "The application PlayMaker football quit unexpectedly." Relaunching did not help and techs at Apple stated that the software developers would have to address. Anyone have a solution to this issue?

Launch issue

Seems to me I had a similar problem and fixed it by tossing out the Prefs file for Playmaker, then relaunching in it. For the most of the time, I was still running 2.4 until I upgraded to Lion which requires 2.5, though.
