iPad: Is there a way to set the conditions for calling a play?

When I used playmaker on my Palm, I was able to set the conditions for calling each play, so that when playmaker played my team automatically, it made good play-calling decisions. The Forums contain advice for setting play conditions.

I cannot see how to do this on the iPad. I assume that when I play the other teams on the ipad, such as Samurai and Pack, the plays chosen for these teams are using such conditions. Am I missing something? How do I set these on the iPad?
