I understand that you're going to be using sqlite3 for the database in upcoming versions.
Steve, do you think it's worthwhile to try to strip the library of support for the .show, .schema, etc. commands since they won't be needed within the application? I'm just thinking it might save space on tight platfomrs like Palm.
